Birthdays + Gingerbread Houses

Michael, Bekah + kids came down and had a sleep-over this year to celebrate Brian + Zach's birthday. We had a blast! Since it's a tradition to build gingerbread houses with the cousins every Christmas, we accomplished that while they were down as well. December is such a crazy month for us and I always feel like we are cramming SO much stuff into each get-together. But really, the kids LOVE it and we have so much fun spending time with our family. This year Zach decided that he was too cool to make a gingerbread house, so he was the "tune-master" (he also did a great job at eating tons of candy...what a brat, huh?). Colton + Ella did awesome this year. They built their houses all on their own...they were adorable!
After making gingerbread houses and eating birthday cake Friday night, Saturday afternoon Brian + Uncle Mikey took Zach and 4 of his buddies bowling + playing laser-tag. Zach said he had an awesome birthday + I'm pretty sure Brian enjoyed himself as well! It doesn't seem like 13 years ago I gave Brian a slimy, cone-headed, perfectly beautiful baby boy for his birthday present. I love you Bri, and thanks for always making Zach feel special on your shared birthday...you're a wonderful daddy!
