Sunday-Dec. 13, 2009
In preparation for Zach's 12th birthday, he had an interview with our Bishop. In our church, when a boy (I guess now he's a young man) turns 12, he is able to receive the Aaronic Priesthood. The Bishop talked with Zach, Brian + I for quite some time...he wanted to make sure that Zach was prepared and understood the responsibilities that come with this ordination. It was so cute...Zach was red-faced and incredibly shy, but it was cute! He's such a good boy (okay, minus his temper) and it's so fun to see how he's matured and developed over the years. Brian has been working on converting our old VHS home movies over to DVD and I just cry and cry everytime I see Zach's sweet, chubby little face. He's officially taller than me (I know, I'm no giant...but still). Before I know it, we'll be getting ready to send him off on his mission. We were so glad that Grandpa Beazer, Papa, and Uncle Mikey were able to stand in as Brian ordained Zach. What a great day this was. After church, we had some snacks and then bbq pork sandwiches...yummy! We worked on some puzzles, Brian + Zach opened up their gifts, and we had a great time visiting and laughing together! Enjoy the pictures...love to all, Kim
