The Flathead River

Our last day of vacation was spent in West Glacier whitewater rafting down the Flathead. We've been rafting before, but this was a little different. They had a few class 3 rapids and all the kids were with us. Yes, you know I was paranoid that someone was going to flip out of the boat and I wasn't relaxed until we were done. With that being said, I really did have a lot of fun (I was worried about the safety of the kids, but it was still exciting). Uncle Al, Tess + Brian braved the freezing glacier water and jumped in....CRAZY, I know! Oh, and Brian dipped Ella in while holding on to her life-jacket and she was cold the rest of the time. Thanks to Aunt Cheryl and Grandma who cuddled her in the back of the raft trying to warm her up :-) After rafting we grabbed some dinner with everyone at the A+W in Columbia Falls, MT....this is where Tess managed to spill her rootbeer float 2 times (once on her legs + all over the floor, and then the 2nd time on Lauren's lap). We don't call her Tessy-Messy for nothin' ;-) After cleaning the girls up we were on the road heading back home. What a great ending to our fun vacation!
