Tubing down the Provo River
Labor Day, Brian decided that he wanted to go tubing down the Provo River. So, we went! Dad had to work, so we coerced Mom into going along. We sang songs, laughed, ran into tree branches, scraped our booties on rocks...it was great! I was a little apprehensive about this, but it was a piece of cake. I'm still not sure whether Ella enjoyed herself, but she says she'll go again. After, we headed to BYU Creamery for some yummy burgers, fries + ice cream. We were sad that Dad missed out but we'll drag him next time. Love to all, Kim

My Mom + I re-did my flower beds a little. Actually, it was more like this...mom told me what to buy, where to put it, and then she planted everything while I mixed up the root-stimulator and weeded. I gave her my input when I was asked and everything turned out beautiful! Thanks to her for all of her hard work...I love you Mom!

Our 1st Broken Bone
Zach did it...he won the award for the 1st broken bone! I thought surely it would have been Tess, but Zach, with a little help from his buddy Jose, proved me wrong. It happened on the 2nd day of school (he fell off of Jose's scooter), but when I took him to have his x-rays they told me it looked okay. 10 days later it was still bothering him a bit (especially after some crazy tube-riding behind Josh's boat) so I took him in for more x-rays. Sure enough, the swelling had gone down enough that they could see the fracture. He's doing fine...his cast is smelling a little funky so he sprays it with his Axe deodorant every day, but other than that he's great.

Boating with our Friends
We have been boating serveral times now with our friends Josh + Rebekah, and it's a BLAST every time. Eventually we'll get our own boat, but until then, it's nice to have friends who invite us along. We have so much fun. The girls have become a little apprehensive on the tube (they've watched Josh flip Zach + Michael and now they are a little freaked out) but they love to take slow rides and swim in the lake. Rebekah + I scream like the little girls when we get on....I'm sure we're a sight to be seen :-o We love the water and it's been so nice to take advantage of these last few opportunities before it starts getting too cold. I hope all is well with all of you....much love, Kim
