Hanging out with Cousins

Today Ella and I got to hang-out with Sydne and Colton. We went to McDonald's for lunch and they played for about an hour (I thought this would be a good way to kill some time). Nannie met us there...McDonald's is, after all, her favorite place in the whole wide world to hang-out. Those 3 kids crack me up! It's so cute to see them play together and get along...I guess there was a little boy who kept trying to take Colton and Sydne's zebra toy. The kids were sliding these zebras down the slide and this little boy repeatedly tried taking them. Well, Ella took their toys and she was guarding them. She was running away and keeping the zebras as far away as possible from this little bully (Sydne and Colton filled me in on all the details). It made me laugh to see how serious they were when they were telling me everything. We left and went straight to pick up the kids from school, and they've been playing since. They are playing house with all their puppies as I type! Bekah will be here before long...I guess I'll go and put in another load of laundry. Oh what fun, huh? Love to all, Kim

Tick-or-Treating Night

Here's a group photo of the kids with all of their friend's. We met at my friend Christine's house for soup, rolls, and then off for trick-or-treating. This has been a tradition since we moved here 3 years ago. Christine had carmel apples made for the kids after we were done, and then we headed home to our neighborhood for round 2. The kids had a blast!
