HSM 3 & Trunk-or-Treat

Friday night Brian and I went on a date night...to the church for dinner, and then Scout Leader Training. We didn't end up being together after dinner, so it really can't be counted as a "Date Night" (just thought I'd point that out to you Bri). Brian went to his Scout Training stuff and I went with some of the other wives to learn how to be a better support. I cut out early, around 9 pm, to relieve Nannie & Papa, and Brian got home after 10:30 pm. It was a late night for everyone...all the girls "slept-over" in Lauren's bed and they stayed up late reading, giggling, and doing whatever little girls do.

Well, Saturday was a big day for us. Brian and I got up and painted in the Kitchen and Dining Room, and then I got the girls ready and we met Aunt Bekah, Lybbe, Sydne and Colton to watch High School Musical 3. The kids had a BLAST! There was candy, popcorn and soda for everyone...it really was cute to see them dancing in their seats and having fun together. I wish I would've remember my camera, but I didn't, so there are no photos of our HSM 3 date. We left the theater in time to go get some more candy, go home and get ready for the Trunk-or-Treat at the church. Wow, good thing they had lots of sugar that day to keep them going, huh? That's what we've been up to lately...this weekend we'll have some more Halloween photos for sure. Until then, take care - Kim

Ella's Fieldtrip

I had the pleasure of going with Ella on her Fieldtrip yesterday...it was a lot of fun. The firemen got a call about 10 minutes before we got there, so we had to wait around a little for them to show up. Other than that things went smoothly. Ella talked about going to the Fire Station all morning, but once we got there I think it was a little overwhelming! You can see her expression in a few of the photos...not sure whether to cry or smile. She was a hoot! It has been so good for her to go to preschool this year. She is such a mommy's girl, and it has helped her step out of her comfort zone. She is very quiet and she is inseperable from Sandra when they are at school, but she's making progress still. Enjoy the pictures....I need to go and help Brian paint the Kitchen and Dining Room, and then we're off to see HSM 3. Whoooooo-hoooo! More pictures to follow tomorrow, I'm sure!

Backyard Campout

So, the only thing Zach had left to do for his "Arrow of Light" was to help pitch a tent and then sleep in it. We figured that this may be our last window, so we ended up sleeping in the backyard Friday night. We were going to go somewhere but we decided against it...you know, just in case it got too cold and we needed to come into the house in the middle of the night. (My idea of course) It wasn't as cold as I thought it would be, but our little Ella wouldn't stay in her sleeping bag for anything. Brian and I were waking up every 20 minutes (at least it seemed to us) to make sure she wasn't freezing...BUT we survived! The kids had soooooo much fun, they wanted to camp-out all weekend.

Friday was also my Dad's Birthday...Happy Birthday, again, Dad! We love you!

Tess' Baptism

Wow, I can hardly believe that our Tessy-Messy is old enough, but it's true. She was baptized today, and it was such a special occassion. Tess helped us with the program and she decided who she wanted to speak. Zachary gave the talk on "Baptism" and my dad, Papa, spoke on the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Grandpa Beazer gave the opening prayer and my mom, Nannie, gave the closing. We had an Open House for our "special girl" at our home afterwards. It was a really nice day...long, but definitely a day we won't forget! I should take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped out today: Grandma Beazer helped me make cookies all morning, Nannie brought her special mulling spices over and whipped us up some hot apple cider, Michael and Bekah drove down here to spend the day with us (Michael even flashed back to his days as Student Band Director and lead the music for us...thanks again Mikey for helping us in a pinch), Rebekah Schreiner brought some broccolli salad over, and Heidi and McCrae drove all over The Ranches to find the right LDS church just to be there for us. I could go on and on...but "Thank You" to everyone. Finally, thanks to Brian for being such a great husband/dad. You're the best Bri, "I love you!"

Mommy & Her Girls

Things are going good at our home...I've been a little stressed and Brian has just finished another term of school but, we're making it. To celebrate his freedom, Brian took the girls on a daddy-daughter date to "Build-a-Bear"....they have been playing with their new stuffed toys ever since. Ella, as you can see below, picked out a Hannah Montana bear (whose name changes daily), Lauren picked out a Dancer Black Lab named Chloe, and Tess chose a cheer-leading Black lab named Kim, how funny is that, huh?

On Mondays, the kids have "early out" and I take advantage of that extra hour to get everyones homework done for the week. Zach is the only exception to that, he usually has some homework every night, but anyhow...the other days of the week the kids have snack and then they rush off to play. On occassion, I can convince the girls to spend some quiet time laying down on the couches, but, only if I turn on their favorite show. So, the girls and I were just relaxing and watching "Jon & Kate Plus 8", of course,. ...what a better time to take some photos, right? Just me, Lauren, Tess & Ella...Enjoy!
